Process pumps in the UNIVERS P series are designed for heavy-duty sewage treatment plant operation, featuring a direct drive via coupling or a V-belt drive. In this case, the main focus is on reliability and maximum efficiency over a lengthy period of operation. The higher inertia of the centrifugal masses minimises the effects of water hammer in the pipes. Another key benefit: the level of maintenance and repair work for the UNIVERS P is negligible.

UNIVERS-P Pumpen in Prozessbauweise zum Fördern von ungereinigtemAbwasser. Eingesetzt zur Abwasserförderung in verfahrenstechnischen Anlagen, Pumpstationen oder Kläranlagen. Die Prozesspumpe der Baureihe UNIVERS P wurde speziell für den harten Klärwerkseinsatz mit direktem Antrieb über Kupplung oder Keilriemenantrieb konstruiert. Hier stand besonders die Zuverlässigkeit und ein möglichst hoher Wirkungsgrad über eine lange Betriebszeit im Vordergrund. Die höhere Massenträgheit der Schwungmassen minimiert die Auswirkungen von Wasserschlägen im Rohrleitungssystem. Der Wartungs- und Reparaturaufwand ist bei der UNIVERS P äußerst gering.
